Ann was contracted to Sanon via Australian Volunteers International in mid 2017. Ann had Masters Degree in Early Learning and considerable experience in the education sector including 12 years in various overseas posts.
During her time with Sanon Ann conducted english language lessons for Sanon’s students along with Margaret a local english language teacher. Ann also developed a ‘bespoke’ english language curriculum that was focused on the hospitality environment and was uniquely targeted to the needs of Sanon and its students.
The curriculum was tabled and approved at the Sanon’ Training Restaurant’s annual general meeting on the 22nd of November 2018.
Ann’s contribution to Sanon went well beyond her contracted obligations by offering advice and assistance on a wide range of educational and administrative issues. Ann’s professionalism. tact, insight, warmth and devotion had endeared her to all our students, graduates and staff.
Ann ended her contract and finished her position at Sanon in mid December 2018. A warm farewell was held for Ann at the Sanon Training Restaurant which was attended by the staff and students of Sanon. It was sad to see her leave but wish her all the best for the future.
